CEREMONY STYLES

A ceremony setting for every love story

Hillside Ceremony

Our hillside ceremony offers sweeping views of the vineyard and the Bull Run mountains as the backdrop for your altar. The hillside is the perfect ceremony site for any couple looking to incorporate breathtaking views during their exchange of vows. With processionals beginning from our vines, wooden gates, or winding path, couples enjoy plenty of dynamic choices for their grand entrance.

Tank Room Ceremony

If you love the romance of a winery wedding, the Tank Room may be the perfect fit. With its cathedral ceilings and rustic wood accents, the Tank Room provides the perfect balance of the old and the new as you exchange your vows beneath our reclaimed stone archway. After the ceremony, your guests will head directly down our barrel chai to enjoy cocktail hour in our Barrel Club Room. The Tank Room is utilized by our wine making team and may be unavailable at various times throughout the year.

Ball Room Ceremony

Our Vineyard View Ballroom provides panoramic views of the property through a wall of windows, making it the perfect blend of the indoors and the outdoors. With its collection of classic chandeliers and intricate stonework pulled from our beloved estate, the ballroom is a timelessly refined space. When the ceremony is complete, your guests exit through our barrel chai to cocktail hour. Our staff flips the room for your reception, making it feel like a new space when your guests return.

Pond Ceremony

For couples in search of stunning water features and striking stone accents, our pond ceremony is the perfect fit. This location offers stadium-style seating, providing your guests with the perfect view of your vows. Your wedding party will proceed from our iconic grotto doors and make their way around the mirrored water to the aisle in front of your family and friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do we inquire about a wedding at Stone Tower Winery?

Submit the wedding inquiry form on this page. The Weddings team can provide the brochure, current pricing, available dates, package details, frequently asked questions, and preferred-vendor information before you schedule a venue tour.

What wedding options are available?

Stone Tower has offered full wedding packages, micro-weddings, and intimate elopement options. Availability, guest limits, timing, and inclusions depend on the date and package, so the Weddings team will confirm the current options for your plans.

How many wedding guests can Stone Tower accommodate?

The current wedding agreement allows up to 250 guests, excluding caterers and other service providers. The final capacity depends on the selected ceremony and reception spaces, room layout, service style, and the event plan documented in your agreement.

What ceremony locations can we choose from?

Couples may choose from the Hillside, Pond, Vineyard View Ballroom, or Tank Room. The Hillside and Pond offer outdoor vineyard settings, while the Ballroom and Tank Room provide distinctive indoor options. Seasonal winemaking activity may affect Tank Room availability.

What spaces are included with a full wedding?

A full wedding package may include the Farmhouse getting-ready suite, the selected ceremony location, the Barrel Club Room and outdoor patio for cocktail hour, and the Vineyard View Ballroom for the reception. The Farmhouse is available to the wedding party from the contracted access time.

What furniture is included, and do we need to rent linens?

Stone Tower provides a selection of ceremony seating, reception tables and chairs, lounges, high-tops, and cocktail-hour furniture. Linens are generally arranged separately through the caterer or rental partner. The Weddings team will confirm the inventory included with your package and layout.

Does Stone Tower provide a wedding planner?

Stone Tower does not provide a wedding planner or event coordinator as part of the venue services. Couples must hire a professional planner or event coordinator at least 60 days before the wedding. The planner must be approved by Stone Tower and authorized to make event decisions on the couple’s behalf.

How does catering work?

Stone Tower does not provide wedding catering. If food other than items purchased from Stone Tower will be served, couples must hire a professional, full-service, licensed, and insured caterer at least 60 days before the wedding. The caterer must be approved by Stone Tower before booking.

What is the wedding alcohol and wine policy?

Only Stone Tower Winery wines may be served, with a minimum purchase of one 12-bottle case per 25 adult guests. Event wine is discounted 10% from retail, or 15% when the couple or host is an active Wine Club or Estate Club member. The host must obtain the required one-day Virginia ABC Banquet License and provide it at least 60 days before the event. Liquor requires the appropriate license, shots are not permitted, and all alcohol must be served by qualified professional bartenders.

How long is the wedding rental?

The current wedding agreement provides a 10-hour rental period that includes preparation, the event, and cleanup, with at least one hour reserved for cleanup. Additional preparation or decorating time must be requested and approved in advance. Time beyond the contracted period is charged at $500 per hour or any portion of an hour, and amplified music must end by 11:00 p.m.

Is event insurance required?

Yes. The host must obtain event insurance with at least $1 million in liability coverage and identify Stone Tower Winery as a co-insured. Coverage must include host liquor liability and a waiver of subrogation. Certificates of insurance for the host, caterer, and specialty-service vendors are due at least 60 days before the wedding.

What are the wedding payment and cancellation terms?

A 50% venue-rental payment is due when the agreement is signed. The remaining scheduled balance and a $1,000 security deposit are due at least 60 days before the wedding. If the event is canceled for reasons other than Stone Tower’s fault, payments are retained unless Stone Tower books a replacement event of equal or greater value on the reserved date; any eligible refund is reduced by a 10% rebooking fee and applicable administrative or processing fees. Separate force-majeure terms are set out in the signed agreement.

Are lodging and transportation options available?

Stone Tower has three Airbnb properties that are booked separately and subject to availability: Spring House, The Chalet, and The Cottage. Downtown Leesburg and the surrounding area also offer hotel options. Coordinate transportation plans with the Weddings team; limousines are permitted, while parking for buses, RVs, and large commercial vehicles may be restricted.

When should we inquire, and how do we schedule a venue tour?

Inquire as early as possible, especially for popular seasons or a specific date. The Weddings team can send pricing and availability before a tour, then arrange a scheduled site visit around weddings, private events, and venue operations. Same-day walk-in tours may not be possible.
