Enjoy a luxurious vacation to the Rhone Valley in a glass

This wine – a classic combination of Viognier blended with Roussanne, Marsanne, and splash of Grenache Blanc – is a beautiful example of the white blends made in the Rhône Valley. In the glass, we see a lovely light straw color with a platinum halo. The nose is full of ripe tropical fruit, offers a dash of lemon curd, and introduces the wool accent often present in Chenin Blanc. The lemon curd carries through on the palate, followed by the tropical fruit and a touch of apricot. There is a very pleasant richness characteristic of the Roussanne. The lemon curd extends through the finish, leaving a unique sense of satisfaction – like the feeling you get with a good hug. The luxurious combination of the Viognier’s silkiness, the Roussanne, and the beeswax quality contributed by the Marsanne makes this wine a stunning example of what we expect from Rhône white blends. Spicy foods are a natural pairing – Thai, Indian, even Mexican. Not a fan of spice? The wine will come alive with a wide variety of other dishes, too, including richer poultry and fish featuring roasted fruit or fruit-based sauces. Sushi is a real winner, and so are vegetarian dishes of all kinds. Enjoy now through 2028.
