2024 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve

The 2024 Stone Tower Estate Sauvignon Blanc is reminiscent of the wine you might find in the Loire Valley. Platinum in color with a lustrous white halo, this wine is exceptionally fruit-forward on the nose, with pronounced notes of gooseberry, a touch of papaya, and candied lime. This unctuous fruit carries through to the palate, where beautifully integrated oak brings a touch of vanilla and a trace of pear. The finish lingers with pear and a lovely essence of vanilla. Bring on soft briny and sour cheese, like goat cheese. Grill some fresh fish and serve outside on a cool summer evening. Enjoy the wine with some chicken salad or salade niçoise. Vegetable lovers will rejoice when they grill or roast vegetables or make a vegetable quiche – the wine and the food will come alive together. Serve slightly more chilled, between 52° and 55°. While the wine is especially delightful now, it will certainly retain its vibrancy through 2027.
