2024 Sauvignon Blanc

This wine is a perfect reflection of what happened in the vineyard. The fermentation and ageing in stainless steel preserve the vinous of the fruit – the typicity as it came from the vineyard.
It is crisp with a slight acidity. It has a playful bright grapefruit and peach on the nose. That lovely fruit carries through to the palate with beautiful balance. There is a roundness that smooths the slight acidity and creates a lovely mouthwatering sensation as you sip the wine. The wine finishes with a lovely softness leaving a slightly creamy sensation on the tongue. It is so evident that the wine has been skillfully crafted. There is a round softness due to a kiss of oak.
This wine will pair beautifully with so many foods –chicken and pork, fish – sole, trout, cod, halibut. Cheese is a smash with – soft briny and sour cheeses like Goat’s milk. Try this with what evert one thinks is an absolute no – grilled asparagus. Quiche is another great pairing. If you are a vegetarian or just love vegetables try cucumber dill yogurt salad, hummus, white beans. Drink now through 2027.
