2024 Chardonnay Reserve

This 2024 Chardonnay is another beautiful example of Stone Tower Estate-Grown Chardonnay. The fruit was sourced from the prime vineyard blocks B and W. The wine is plush and elegant. It has a lovely pale straw color and a white halo. The nose offers lovely baking spice, star fruit, and a touch of papaya. As you sip the wine, the palate comes alive with more spice, a hint of butterscotch, and a suggestion of minerality. The beautiful, long and luxurious finish is driven by the silky butterscotch and punctuated with an insinuation of ginger. The lees integration gives this wine a round and luxurious texture. Pair this wine with complimentary or contrasting flavors and textures. It will pair beautifully with creamy soups, such as vichyssoise for the summer, fresh fish, and grilled or roasted chicken. If you like oysters on the half shell – it’s a winner. Vegetable lovers will relish the pairing of grilled corn on the cob or any other grilled vegetables. Serve this wine at 56° – 58°.
