2022 Rosé of Nebbiolo

This particular rosé is our second made from Nebbiolo and the first to be made using stainless steel. If we think of the red wines, Nebbiolo, Barolo, and Barbaresco as the king of wines, then surely this rosé must be the queen. What makes this wine fascinating is that it captures the character of the fruit as it came from the vineyard due to the use of stainless steel. The wine is fresh, vibrant, and excites the palate with its fresh fruit flavors of strawberries, red currant, cherry, and lime zest. It is clean, crisp, and perfect for a spring and summer day, with slightly higher tannins that further excite the palate. The finish is lovely and lingers much longer than other rosé wines. This versatile rosé pairs well with grilled pork, fish, creamy salmon pasta, and watermelon salad with feta and basil. Overall, it’s an exceptional rosé that you can enjoy now through 2024.
